You see, I am professional actor. I have been in movies, soap operas, commercials, and lots of plays. For some circumstances I never made the move to Los Angeles, well at least yet (I live in beautiful Miami), and here, living as a professional actor is like one day you are in, and the other one, you are out, even if you are "very good", like me.

Three months ago, I had just finished a one year contract with a Hispanic TV channel where I was doing a soap opera. After a whole year playing a great part (a discotheque owner, with a lot of friends), I was back home doing nothing, just waiting for another call from my agent.

So I decided to buy myself a lap top and begin a journey into the unknown while waiting for my next "big break". You see where I was? I didn't even had a computer, and English is my second language. So imagine, I was a little bit lost. No computer experience, no Internet knowledge, and marketing....? forget it, nada! Before, I never picture an actor with a computer. Don't know why.

So, my journey started. I used search engines to search for home businesses. And that's when my head almost exploded. I am sure you know what I am taking about.
But then, one morning, I found a great site that offered me the opportunity not just to have my own website, but also to learn right from the comfort of my home, and that what I did. That day my search was over!

I now wake up every morning, and instead of waiting for my agent to call for an audition, I jump right into my home business and star counting the money I made while I slept. It is that simple.

Arranging for New Age Piano

A while back, I wrote an article that compared flower arranging to music arranging. While this may seem a world apart, it really isn't.

In flower arranging, the goal is to create a pleasing whole using different flowers, colors, textures, etc. If you've ever seen a beautiful flower arrangement, you'll know what I mean. The eye takes in the various contrasts and colors and is pleased when it forms into one satisfying whole.

In music the object is the same. When arranging a piece for New Age piano, we work with sections. We can label the sections (A) and (B) and then "arrange" the sections into an order. The most common order is ABA form. It has the benefits of simplicity and is a good place to start with New Age piano.

Most times, I'll use an 8-bar phrase for the (A) section. This gets repeated 2 or 3 times. Then it's time for some contrast - the (B) section. This can be a 4 or 8-bar phrase depending on taste. Then the (A) section is repeated one last time.

Now, there are other elements that go into our arrangement such as introductions, transitions, and endings. Using these elements, we can create a pleasing musical arrangement that satisfies the minds need for order and beauty creating art!

Tori Amos From The Choirgirl Hotel Rock Music CD Review

The exceptionally talented Rock artist Tori Amos has released her CD entitled From The Choirgirl Hotel. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Tori Amos fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of From The Choirgirl Hotel Tori Amoss artistic excellence is on full display as Amos has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be her best work to date.

I wish it werent the case but, its not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just cant force myself to get through. Not at all the case with From The Choirgirl Hotel. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

These days its a very rare CD on which every single song is good or better than the one before it. This CD is certainly one of those rare CDs.

I give From The Choirgirl Hotel my highest recommendation. It just plain belongs in any serious music collectors collection regardless of genre preference.

While the entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 7 - Liquid Diamonds, track 11 - Playboy Mommy, and track 12 - Pandoras Aquarium

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - Spark. Its a great track!

French With Indian Soul - Jean Jacques Annaud - A Master Of French Cinema

It was a great opportunity to meet jean Jacques Annaud the world famous French director who was in India in March '96' along with his panorama of films. At Delhi

It was like meeting an old friend I have lost track in my previous birth whom I found in a French body with divine Indian ethos, which are currently mine.

Time and cross cultural gaps suddenly vanished and we enjoyed the movement of togetherness in close soul searching talks on different subjects related to the world view which is held by annaud and which makes the central fiber of his works.

All of annaud's films revolve around cross cultural dilemma posed to us by the varied shapes and shades of TIME on human beings and life in this cosmos. These conflicts disappear as soon as we reach the HIGHT in which we are the core element of this cosmic existence. We are otherwise also bound by this invisible thread, our loneliness, our miseries are part of our own creation, our own isolation, our own ignorance by which we have dissociated our selves from the cosmic connection with every iota of this great creation of the great creator.

Annaud's appearance in world cinema at this juncture when cross cultural conflict is a major issue in all the societies of the world has special significance to our time. He makes films intuitively and his films are having his marks like an author. We can not only see them but fear and smell their fragrance.

He has studied Anthropology. Philosophy and social sciences and this has helped him in formulating his material which has a visual appeal and strong intellectual metaphoric meaning.

Annaud raises different questions in his cinema, in his film "The name of the rose" which won prestigious "CESAR Award for the best foreign film in 1987", he talks about dying of monks who have to decide who is guilty by referring the books which are poisoned by the regime. The film is based after umber to eco's novel and raises a moral question that is guilty the time, the oppressive nature or the interpretation in a metaphoric manner.

In an another film "The Bear" which also won Cesar award for best director in 1989. He is narrating us a story in which polar bears and a bear Cub is encountering hunters who are selfish. In a chance encounter the mighty bear forgives the hunter who had become helpless. This humality changes the heart of the hunters. The story is very touching and with very few dialogues and is enjoyed in different cultural audiences, speaking different languages.

Annaud's film "the Lover" which he made after the novel by famous French novelist "Marguerite Duras" is a love Saga made by him to explain meaning of love to his daughter.

The film is set in back drop of 1920 in Indo China. A Young teenager girl at the end of her school holiday going back to Saigon. While crossing Mekong on the ferry she meets Thirty two year old married Chinaman who offers to drive the young girl to Saigon. They enter in a relationship which they are unable to define. One and half year they are together and the mystery is unfolded when young girl returns back to Europe in the same liner from Saigon harbor. The girl starts crying she realizes that she was in love Annaud has commented on chemistry of love which we are unable to express and suffer. The film is beautifully made and the changing moods of nature with the changing moods experienced by the young girl are woven together to form a holistic experience.

Cinema for Annaud is constant play of images searching love, communication, togetherness and under standing. His films like Quest for fire" after Rosny Aine's novel deals with the basic human nature. The film is set in historic time at the beginning of humanity during Stone Age.

Annaud has searched the people's behavior and is able to conclude that truth in human behavior lies in their deeds and not on what they say.

Annaud was critical about the way cinema is functioning to-day in Hollywood and told that deeper depths of Art and humanity to be searched in cinema then the surface Reality depicted in Hollywood stuff. The thoughts are similar to classic directors like Ingmar Bergman and kumar shahni.

Talking about his new film "seven years in Tibet" based on Autobiographical novel by Austrian writer "Henry Harrier" he told that his films are always having autobiographical elements.

This film is shot in Leah and Tibet will be having more of cross cultural issues which are favorite subject of his world view.

Film Review - The Reflecting Pool

Whether you see yourself as a truth seeker, patriotic American, independent thinker or voter, or just someone with bad memories of 9/11, you should make an effort to view The Reflecting Pool, a new independent movie. It is not about 9/11. It is about the credibility of the official government story about 9/11. Though a drama, it is based on meticulously researched facts about 9/11 as revealed in the bonus material on the DVD.

The story is about the search for truth and the unsettling implications of discovering 9/11 truth that conflicts with what has become the folklore about the historic event.

The plot follows the efforts of independent journalist Alex Prokop and Paul Cooper, a researcher and father of a 9/11 victim, to piece together fact-fragments into a picture that ultimately implicates the US government in the attacks. The horror of this revelation rivals the horror of the 9/11 events themselves, especially when we realize that far more people, especially American soldiers, have died because of 9/11 in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan than on 9/11. Yet to close our eyes to this truth makes us co-conspirators in one of the world's most devilish and despicable events.

And that is the dilemma that viewers face after they watch this disturbing docudrama: What if this fictional story actually and accurately describes how our government played a role in causing 9/11?

Writer/Director Jarek Kupsc plays Alex Prokop who examines a mysterious 9/11 videotape revealing new information on the attack. Joseph Culp appears as Paul Cooper, the man who sent the tape and whose daughter died on 9/11. Though skeptical of conspiracy theories and fearful that it will jeopardize his career, Prokop agrees to take on the story with encouragement from his magazine editor and a former Gulf War correspondent, McGuire, played by Lisa Black.

The film follows Prokop and Cooper, especially as they investigate one of the great mysteries of 9/11: the inexplicable collapse of the 47-story World Trade Center Building 7, not hit by any airplane. They uncover the illegal destruction of physical evidence from Ground Zero, and discover information that the White House knew an attack was imminent. The team spends two weeks in New York and Washington D.C., interviewing people and discovering damning information never mentioned in the 9/11 Commission Report. The FBI becomes involved, the magazine's corporate investors threaten to kill the entire story, and Prokop is attacked by a lawsuit and the media in an effort to discredit his story. Why?

Because the official version as presented in the 9/11 Commission Report purposely ignored or omitted vital evidence and testimonies to protect people in the Bush administration. Prokop, plagued by the ghosts of his childhood in Russia and trying to uphold the independence of American journalism, struggles to come to grips with this awful truth. The film illustrates that, as so often is the case, the truth does not set you free; it ties your stomach and conscience into knots. It will remind you of All the President's Men and JFK, films that also used drama to pursue political truths.

Usher Raymond IV was born on October 14, 1978 and is best known as Usher. He is an American R&B and pop singer and actor who rose to fame in the mid-late 1990s. To date, he has sold approximately 30 million albums worldwide and has won five Grammy Awards. Usher is also a part owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers National Basketball Association franchise. He also has his own record label, US Records.

No release date has been set and no title has been announced for Usher's fifth studio album. It was originally scheduled to be released in November of 2007. Songs for the album have already been recorded with Jermaine Dupri, T-Pain, Dre & Vidal, and Polow da Don. Other producers he may have worked with but aren't yet confirmed include Kanye West, Timbaland, and Ne-Yo.
